Vanilla Oil: Solutions & Issues

The "good old boy" conventional vanilla oil buyers and their companies do not care for the ancient techniques, because time is money for them. For example, they buy average to low quality beans, mix them and percolate with alcohol to make vanilla extract in only one week. The traditional maceration, on the other hand, with alcohol takes over 3 months (up to a year is best) to produce aged vanilla extract. This can be done at home with a good vodka and cured quality beans placed in a warm place and shaken daily. Vanilla sugar used by our grandmothers can be made by chopping up 3 beans in one cm. pieces and placing in your sugar bowl. Keeping the beans covered continually with sugar will "sweeten" the sugar with vanilla aroma for years on end.

If a cup is cleansed with water and soap it is clean.

If it is used to drink a good tea the tea slowly

infuses into the cup and gives the cup a character

after some use. Another example is a flute or a violin

that matures and ages as it is played more and more by

a master musician.

The mind creates thoughts. What is the thought made out

of !

A thought is made out of vitality and is as real as a

physical action. The junction of the thought and the

body is an emotion. A thought that is in conflict to

the perfectness of the body creates what is called a

negative emotion. The vital energy carried by that

thought creates conflict with the body and the body

generates toxins to counterbalance the negative

thought. We call this "Poison killing Poison".

The poison thus generated by the body can be flushed

out by the lungs, kidneys and sweat glands. We

generally call that detoxification.

The poison created by the mind can be cleansed by

observing the mind. The trick is to recognize the

truth right away that it is not an individual mind but

the collective human mind that is out of balance. Thus

there is no one (including yourself) to blame. Once

mind is watched it gradually quietens and an

intelligence arises. This intelligence does not create

toxic thoughts.

This is the end of all detoxification.

Hello world, hey young world the world is yours!

Today I'd like to say that Namasteezy & friends are grateful, we are 

grateful for the new team on the scene. we are stoked and grateful

about Analog Forestry. Its time for the yoga community to go 

next level, we see that you need to awaken to this, and 

help spread the word. 

Grateful

Everyday is a blessing, and in each moment there are many things that we can be grateful for. 

The world opens up to us when we live in a space of gratitude. In essence, gratitude has a 

snowball effect. When we are appreciative and express that 

gratitude, the universe glows a bit brighter and showers us with even more blessings.

There is always something to be grateful for, even when life seems hard. 

When times are tough, whether we are having a bad day or stuck in what may 

feel like an endless rut, it can be difficult to take the time to feel grateful. Yet, 

that is when gratitude can be most important. If we can look at our lives, 

during periods of challenge, and find something to be grateful for, then we 

can transform our realities in an instant. There are blessings to be found everywhere. 

When we are focusing on what is negative, our abundance can be easy to miss. Instead, 

choosing to find what already exists in our lives that we can appreciate can 

change what we see in our world. We start to notice one blessing, and then another.

When we constantly choose to be grateful, we notice that every breath is a miracle

and each smile becomes a gift. We begin to understand that difficulties are 

also invaluable lessons. The sun is always shining for us when we are grateful, 

even if it is hidden behind clouds on a rainy day. A simple sandwich becomes a feast, 

and a trinket is transformed into a treasure. Living in a state of gratitude allows us to 

spread our abundance because that is the energy that we emanate from our beings. 

Because the world reflects back to us what we embody, the additional blessings that 

inevitably flow our way give us even more to be grateful for. The universe 

wants to shower us with blessings. The more we appreciate life, the more life 

appreciates and bestows us with more goodness. to appreciate life, we need to 

awaken to Analog Forestry and the community doing the most for the planet. 

Doing the most for the planet is doing the most for you, so lets all be healthy 

and happy and see how we are interconnected...... To each other 

and the planet. Maybe we can get some ongoing discussions going?

Analog Forestry is a land management system that entails significant

restrictions on the use of fertilizers and pesticides, which may have a

detrimental effect on the environment or result in the transmission of

residues or toxic secondary products to agricultural products. It also

requires the practitioner to encourage non-crop biodiversity and to design

the cropping system in a manner analogous to the mature, native

ecosystem.

The consequence of the practice of Analog Forestry is the establishment

of a Forest Garden. Grown with adherence to structural and functional

design; the products of which are termed Forest Garden Products (FGPs)

for the purposes of this standard.

A standard for FGPs differs from standards of other forestry produces in

that the design as well as production procedures are an intrinsic part of

the identification, labelling of, and claims for, such products.

The standard provides a framework for the industry covering production,

labeling and inspection and aims to encourage biodiversity friendly

silviculture by protecting consumers and ensuring conditions of fair

competition between producers of products so labeled.

 

The standard will provide a more distinctive market profile by ensuring

transparency at all stages of production and processing. Thereby

improving the credibility of these products in the eyes of consumers.

This standard will ensure that all workers in the production process are

treated fairly and obtain a benefit by participating in maintaining these

standards.

There was a great report on www.kpfa.org yesterday mid day,

titled "Against the Grain" on media networking which you

would probably enjoy because it depicts a new social movement, 

one that Marshall McKluhen predicted in the late 60s.

In the early 1960s, McLuhan wrote that the visual, individualistic print 

culture would soon be brought to an end by what he called 

"electronic interdependence": when electronic media replace 

visual culture with aural/oral culture. In this new age, humankind 

will move from individualism and fragmentation to a collective identity, 

with a "tribal base." McLuhan's coinage for this new social organization

 is the global village, a term which has predominantly negative 

connotations in The Gutenberg Galaxy (a fact lost on its later popularizers):

Instead of tending towards a vast Alexandrian library the world has become 

a computer, an electronic brain, exactly as an infantile piece of science fiction. 

And as our senses have gone outside us, Big Brother goes inside. 

Ikat has been created all around the world, most notably 

Guatemala, where its beautiful 

bright ikat textiles are famous. 

Before being woven, the yarn is tied in 

specific spots to resist dye. 

The resists can be random, 

or most frequently, like Peruvian textiles, 

tied in specific ways to create designs. 

These designs can be anything from camels 

to people to tanks like in modern Afghan rugs. 

There is a huge tradition of ikat throughout the 

world, and it had changed as the dyes have 

gone from natural to chemical. But Namaspirit Artists 

are working hard to keep alive the dying art forms 

as well as natural dye use....

described bird species, were deemed endangered or vulnerable to extinction 

by IUCN's 2007 Red List. In the United States, about 74 of 847 bird species

How can we work together, putting our art and music into action 

when people have been so conditioned away from unity, art and action?
