Namaste & Welcome

deZengo is about the "Art of Beautiful Living." Finding beauty in the strangest places and oddest objects. Being open to the most important discovery of our life--SELF DISCOVERY. It is my hope that as we heal our own pains, angers, fears, regrets...we can begin to heal the world.

As we continue to work independently and interdependently something wonderful takes place. Unity! Creation through collaboration. Life is not meant to be lived through the blinders of fear - step out of your comfort zone and into the NamaZone. Truly we care and our efforts to unite different cultures, backgrounds, genres, and yoga styles together is an enormous undertaking, but someone had to do it. We seek to create bridges between the different practices for those who seek truth and live love.

Pull up a cyber chair, sip some tea and enjoy a relaxing afternoon with Bonsai Yoga at their online hub or hang around here with the deZengo folks. We double down dog dare you!

Conscious Parenting - A Yoga Perspective

With DeZengo

Parenting from a yogic perspective simply means we invite inquiry into and reflection on every part of the experience.

In other words, we search for our own truths and are open to the connection to all living sentient life forms.

We allow growth and teach sustainability while we encourage a child to develop their gifts and empower then to not just survive—to thrive!

ACS Budget Passed in Congress - to Include PREVENTION Programs

ACS CAN General Email Header

Dear Conscious Activists,

You did it.

Your calls. Your emails. Your local events.

It all paid off today when Congress passed a budget that increased funding for cancer research and prevention programs for the 2012 fiscal year.

At a time when all the talk was about budget cuts, Congress heard our message about making cancer a national priority. They heard the voices of real people -- volunteers in every community across the nation -- telling them the terrible impact that cuts could have in the fight against cancer.

This is an important victory and one that is worthy of celebration during this holiday season.

At the same time, we must realize that 2012 brings another huge challenge. The inability of the Super Committee to reach a deal last month could lead to huge cuts to cancer research funding in 2013.

As we prepare our campaign for next year, the involvement of our volunteers will be more important than ever. Click on the action that you’ll commit to for 2012.

I'll help recruit more action takers

I'll promote ACS CAN campaigns on Facebook and Twitter

I'll take online actions when I receive ACS CAN emails

I want to get involved locally in my community

Congratulations to you and all of our volunteers for a great victory to close out this year.

On behalf of everyone at ACS CAN, I wish you a happy and safe holiday season and look forward to working with you in 2012.

:Snow Flakes :
Snowflakes are conglomerations of frozen ice crystals which fall through the Earth's atmosphere. They begin as two snow crystals which develop when microscopic supercooled cloud droplets freeze. Snowflakes come in a variety of sizes and shapes. Complex shapes emerge as the flake moves through differing temperature and humidity regimes. Individual snowflakes are nearly unique in structure. Types which fall in the form of a ball due to melting and refreezing, rather than a flake, are known as graupel, with ice pellets and snow grains as examples of graupel

When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, (like healing a serious illness), all of your thoughts break their bonds, your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction and you find yourself in a new great and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be." ~ Patanjali

Bhagavata Dharma, the Religion of Love

"Abandoning all worldly (established) dharmas, cling to the Dharma which teaches Truth as Love or Love as Truth. Abandoning lust and desires, serve holy, saintly people (male or female). Do not pay attention to others' faults, rather abandon that evil habit of looking at others' faults, and serve yourself with love and joy by listening constantly to the stories of the Lord and saints; constantly drink the nectar of Truth."
The Upanishads, Shreemad Bhagavat Gita and Shreemati Bhagavati Mira teach us that without abandoning rituals and the worldly ways of lust, anger and greed, there is no true joy. We may, however, perform our genuine self invited duties with a disinterested heart, that is, without any expectations of rewards.
Purification is absolutely necessary for most of us and it can be done in several ways. The Gita recommends yagya (sacrifice), tap (discipline), and dan (charity), with no expectation of any kind of return. A sincere seeker of Love will find proper guidance from the Guru of gurus, the Lord Herself.
We must set out on the journey. Never mind wrong exits or roads. It will all be to our advantage if we don't give up, however weak we may be. Sincerity and a singular purpose of seeking true freedom is all that is required of a worldly minded person for whom alone all scriptures are directed. Only the sick who wish to get well seek a doctor's help; the healthy need not go to a doctor. So it is in Spirituality. All can and will reach the goal of joyous eternal life. It may be a matter of time because the intensity with which we strive is a significant factor.
--Swami Radhanandaji

Descripción
Preface
After the Upanishads and the Bhagavadgita, the Srimad Bhagavatam is the most authoritative of the Indian Scriptures. By means of stories from the lives of Avataras, sages, devotees, and kings, it popularizes the truths contained in the Vedas. At this moment more than two hundred million Hindus find in it their most cherished expressions of religious faith and their dearest exemplars. To study it is the best of all ways to become acquainted.

Its peculiar excellence is that it reconciles the heart with the head, devotion with learning. "It is fried in the butter of Knowledge," says Sri Ramakrisna, latest of Indian prophets, "and steeped in the huney of Love."

Only the more generally interesting portions of the more generally interesting portions of the work-amounting to somewhat less than half of the whole-are included in the present version. Of this version, again, about half is summary and paraphrase rather than translation; the remainder, however, consisting of the teachings of Sri Krisna to his disciple Uddhava (Book XI), has been rendered without omission and with approximate literalness. Everywhere the primary object has been to interpret in English the inner spirit of the Sanskrit text.

In no form hitherto, so far as I am aware, has the Bhagavatam been readily available to the English-speaking public.

They must often change, who would be constant in happiness or wisdom. ~Confucius
When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves. ~Victor Frankl
We cannot change anything until we accept it. Condemnation does not liberate, it oppresses.
~C. G. Jung
Acceptance. It is the true thing everyone longs for. The one thing everyone craves. To walk in a room and to be greeted by everyone with hugs and smiles. And in that small passing moment, you truly know you're loved, needed, and accepted.

recovering "Nature's 'biological plan' for human development, a genetically inherent design for open-ended creativity and freedom"

–        Joseph Chilton Pearce

Hosted by Linda Pannell with Guest Host, Marcy Axness, Author of Parenting for Peace—Raising the Next Generation of Peacemakers with Special Guest of Honor, Joseph Chilton Pearce.

Joseph Chilton Pearce is the author of eight books, including Crack In The Cosmic Egg, a national best seller, Magical Child, Evolution's End, The Biology of Transcendence, The Death of Religion and Rebirth of Spirit and, most recently, Strange Loops and Gestures of Creation.

In this Special Edition, Free Global TeleSummit—a gathering of world-renowned

experts in heart-brain science, birth psychology, and family wellness as well as experts in the heart of conception, creation, and birthing from a more expansive view—we explore how to “preserve and develop nature's plan for human development in a child and how to recover that plan in adults”. Together, we look at having children and parenting from multiple perspectives, including the neuroscience, neuro-cardiology—the "brain" in the heart—and the evolution and development of the brain from before birth and beyond.

Despite "mounting hostility, chaos, confusion and danger present in today's dominator world, ... negative cultural effects ... need not block or thwart an individual's spiritual creative unfolding"--Joseph Chilton Pearce
