Namaste & Welcome

deZengo is about the "Art of Beautiful Living." Finding beauty in the strangest places and oddest objects. Being open to the most important discovery of our life--SELF DISCOVERY. It is my hope that as we heal our own pains, angers, fears, regrets...we can begin to heal the world.

As we continue to work independently and interdependently something wonderful takes place. Unity! Creation through collaboration. Life is not meant to be lived through the blinders of fear - step out of your comfort zone and into the NamaZone. Truly we care and our efforts to unite different cultures, backgrounds, genres, and yoga styles together is an enormous undertaking, but someone had to do it. We seek to create bridges between the different practices for those who seek truth and live love.

Pull up a cyber chair, sip some tea and enjoy a relaxing afternoon with Bonsai Yoga at their online hub or hang around here with the deZengo folks. We double down dog dare you!

Vanilla Oil: Solutions & Issues

The "good old boy" conventional vanilla oil buyers and their companies do not care for the ancient techniques, because time is money for them. For example, they buy average to low quality beans, mix them and percolate with alcohol to make vanilla extract in only one week. The traditional maceration, on the other hand, with alcohol takes over 3 months (up to a year is best) to produce aged vanilla extract. This can be done at home with a good vodka and cured quality beans placed in a warm place and shaken daily. Vanilla sugar used by our grandmothers can be made by chopping up 3 beans in one cm. pieces and placing in your sugar bowl. Keeping the beans covered continually with sugar will "sweeten" the sugar with vanilla aroma for years on end.
The Massage Masters in the Namayoga circles are very clear about the right oils to rub into your body and have selected the best supplies to work with, and have also dedicated their practice to the Analog Foresty Movement!

To share in the process of making oils, to learn more about oils and how a truly green massage practice take all of these things into consideration, stay in contact, leave comments to let other people who find these blogs know that we are on the right track!
