Namaste & Welcome

deZengo is about the "Art of Beautiful Living." Finding beauty in the strangest places and oddest objects. Being open to the most important discovery of our life--SELF DISCOVERY. It is my hope that as we heal our own pains, angers, fears, regrets...we can begin to heal the world.

As we continue to work independently and interdependently something wonderful takes place. Unity! Creation through collaboration. Life is not meant to be lived through the blinders of fear - step out of your comfort zone and into the NamaZone. Truly we care and our efforts to unite different cultures, backgrounds, genres, and yoga styles together is an enormous undertaking, but someone had to do it. We seek to create bridges between the different practices for those who seek truth and live love.

Pull up a cyber chair, sip some tea and enjoy a relaxing afternoon with Bonsai Yoga at their online hub or hang around here with the deZengo folks. We double down dog dare you!

Halasana : Plow Pose

Halasana : Plow Pose
Halasana : Plow Pose,

This is more than just a "plow pose!" Trust me...
The incline of the hill was almost more than I anticipated when I decided I must try this. I am an old lady (BTW) ... a breast cancer survivor and someone who still appreciates the fact that my body will move this way ... and that way! Up and down! Side to Side!

I get up on my match box when I start talking about yoga & health in general. I believe WE have all the tools we need to live healthy live - but we have forgotten the importance of the body!

I am no better! As much as I love just being in the floor stretching, I find myself online doing the business part of living. Connecting / writing / sharing and a lot of learning - oh and did I forget to mention creating!

We were rolling down a hill and playing (being silly basically) and the idea to try the yoga on a hill intrigued me. I have done yoga in crazy places just for the fun of it. To experience it in another way. One summer I did it on the hood of an LTD. You would be surprised how much everything changes when the environment your brain is used to processing changes!

One summer I did it on a broken trampoline --to and see if I could keep grace with the added element of wind and wobbliness! I did not fair well - but it was so much fun!

When I do this, I try to imagine what I would look like (the pose would like) from different angles. It's art in my mind's EYE.

So, this is how and why we did this pose on a hill! To experience it!

Love and Light to All,

deZengo
